Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall
Orcas Island Farmers and Artisans bring their wares under the roof of the Odd Fellows Hall on Haven Street in Eastsound during the iffy fall season.
Freshly harvested beets, potatoes, kale, collard greens, turnips, onions, carrots and more produce flows like a mulit-colored organic river from the tabletop displays.
Market manager Jennifer Pietsch demonstrates seasonal recipes during the Market. Last week it was roasted garlic. Plans for this Saturday’s demonstration calls for beets with fennel and goat cheese.
Just come and enjoy!
