Live Music at the Doe Bay Cafe — C.J. Boyd finds home wherever his bass takes him.  Ever-exploring sounds and emotions, his improvised bass compositions seek a home in full experience.  He also heads the project Kirtan Choir (formerly known as The C.J. History Lives Here; Tour of Island Lodgings, from 11 a.m. t0 4 p.m. A self-guided tour of historic lodgings.   They include:  The Kangaroo House, Historical Museum; Outlook Inn; Turtleback Farm Inn; Blue Heron B&B; Deer Harbor Inn and The Place at Cayou Cove  Find answers to Mystery History Questions and bid on tempting auction items.  Tickets:  $25 adults, $15 students, children under 12 are free with adult and can be purchased @ the Chamber of Commerce, Art of the Salish Sea, San Juan Insurance, the Historical Museum or online @ www.orcasmuseum.org. Funhouse Science Fair – 10th Annual Orcas Island Science Fair, from noon to 4 p.m.This year’s Science Fair theme is “Show Us How It Works.”  The fair is free and open to the public so even if you don’t have kids, stop by and admire the young scientific minds at work. Lion’s Club annual Super Shopping Spree Raffle Winner The winning ticket will be drawn at 4 p.m. The lucky winner will be cheered on by Lions Club members at the  “Shopping Run” at Island Market on Sunday, March 27th at 8 a.m. for up to $1,000 in groceries!

Doktor Kaboom! at the Orcas Center. We planned the visit of Doktor Kaboom to coincide with Science Fair weekend! During his one-man, interactive variety show, Doktor Kaboom performs hilarious feats of experimentation that demonstrate principles of science taught at the elementary and middles school levels.6:30pm @ the Orcas Center Stage)  Cost:  $15 (adults), $5 (students).  Call 376-2281 x1.
