Crews will continue removing remnants of the temporary bridge, while finishing up channel excavation, scour protection, and construction of the new permanent Channel Road grade on the east and west approaches to the bridge. One-way traffic will also be routed on to the new bridge.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is rescheduled to Tuesday March 7, 2 pm after the morning County Council meeting in Eastsound.
