In Enchanted Forest, Orcas Center’s Deborah Sparks has conceived and directed an ensemble of fun-loving, local talent in this 60s, 70s and Steampunk-inspired cabaret of love. Through song, dance,(including Bollywood choreography by Prashant Kakad) and fun, this mischievous, magical, and riotous evening unfolds into a contemporary love story.

Enchanted Forest  will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday this weekend and the next: October 13 -15 and 20 – 22.

Enchanted Forest features: Jake Perrine, Grace McCune, Khadoma Colomby, Emily Aring, Fabrice Van Putten, The Steampunk Dance Ensemble, Mathew Laslo-White, the five Sweet Mischief Kids and The Court Dancers.

The crew includes: Jake Perrine (musical director), Paula McDonald (choreographer), Kevin Dickey (sound), Robert Hall, (lights),  Audrey Neddermann (stage manager),  Dean Carey and Annie Sparks-Dempster (costume design and construction).  Sets and props were designed and constructed by Chris Brems and Sparks. Stephen Forsythe, a faux paint artist, added his magic touch to our life-size santos.

All tickets are $13 and may be purchased on the website or by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm.
