A warm invitation is extended to all Orcas islanders to join in welcoming Nimesh Patel and the Empty Hands Music Project to the Island on Monday, September 8th! The event will be held at Oddfellows Hall from 6-9 p.m. and is completely free and family-friendly. Donations for the evening will be accepted, but are not expected.

Nimo’s free offering is a collaborative event with the community rather than just a “concert”. He will share his music, and we are invited to bring our own stories, sharings, artwork, and offerings to create a truly connected evening of community-building and strengthening. Sharings should be related to the themes of Gratitude, Community, Kindness, Service and others reflected in Nimo’s music.

Volunteers will be preparing a “stone soup” supper – bring a salad, side dish or dessert to pass if you’d like.
