An unknown creative islander or tourist or visitor had installed replicas of the World Trade Center buildings in the center of the church labyrinth. The buildings were levelled in a terrorist attack in New York City, that shocked the world 20 years ago and still has the power to take one’s breath away.
We may never know who did this installation in Eastsound, but that’s OK.
