With cold weather moving in and overnight temperatures forecasted to dip into the 20s, the Orcas Island Severe Weather Shelter will be open Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights (Feb 18, 19, and 20).
The Severe Weather Shelter is held in the basement of the Community Church. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and we ask that anyone wishing to stay the night arrive NO LATER THAN 9 p.m. Snacks coffee/tea will be available in the evening, and a hot breakfast will be served in the morning.
