||| FROM VICTORIA COMPTON for ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL |||

Need more data and information to make knowledgeable decisions about your business or as a community legislator or leader? Join the Economic Development Council of San Juan County (EDC) for their fifth annual Datapalooza! event, 1.5 hours of in-depth data and analysis of our economy and demographics, plus great conversation, on Tuesday, March 29 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. via Zoom online.

This year’s program, sponsored in part by Island Market, will include presentations by noted speakers Dr. Anneliese Vance-Sherman, Regional Labor Economist for the State of Washington and James McCafferty, Director of WWU’s Center for Economic & Business Research.

The presentations will explore our region’s economy and demographics – past, present and future – including industry, employment and sales data, and current trends. This in-depth analysis will enable leaders and businesspeople to make informed decisions about issues that affect our community and economy.

Details:  Tuesday, March 29 from 10:00-11:30 a.m., via Zoom.  Tickets are $5 to $50 (with donation) and advance payment is required. Please visit www.sanjuansedc.org/datapalooza to reserve your space. For questions, please call (360) 378-2906 or email: victoria@sanjuansedc.org.

The EDC thanks Island Market in part for their support of this event and other EDC initiatives.

The San Juan County Economic Development Council (EDC) strives to support small rural enterprises, and conduct projects to stimulate new job creation, strengthen the economic base for working families, and support overall quality of life for islanders.
