Join the San Juan County Economic Development Council for a free workshop on the topic of Advanced Writing for Business, on Wednesday, May 10 from 10-11 a.m. on San Juan Island. Advanced registration is required.

The secret to effective writing for business purposes is organization, directness, and simplicity. Noted management consultant and author, Mike Sanders will present five tools to allow you to double writing speed and reader’s comprehension – to write powerfully and fast. These tools include clear, familiar words, short sentences with a single point, active voice sentence construction, using paragraph headings, and employing journalistic style. Free handouts including laminated quick reference cards and Business Writing Certification are included.
