Dining at the New Leaf can benefit the Orcas Island public school system

From April 28th through May 20th you can receive 10% off Saturday Brunch or Sunday Dinner (before tax and gratuity). With a coupon, you will have a choice of getting 10% off your bill OR you can “Choose the Kids” by donating that 10% to the Orcas Island Education Foundation instead.
There are two ways you can get your coupon. One way is to go to: https://oief.org/events.html. At the top of the “Events” page you will find the “Choose the Kids” offer. You can download three 10% off coupons right there. Or you can also swing by the Chamber of Commerce or the Elementary school to pick up the coupons.
The Orcas Island Education Foundation (OIEF) and the New Leaf Café hope you’ll “Choose the Kids” because the money raised from April 28th through May 20th will go to support programs at the public schools. Here is some of what OIEF has helped fund this year: lab tables for a Science Room, the Farm to Classroom program, the 6th grade class to the Olympic Park Institute, a knitting club, the school library, Applied Physics in the High School, the Elementary Secretary, the k-8 Waldron school, High School Winter Sports, and the restoration of a full bus schedule so every child could get to school!
OIEF trusts you will enjoy all the great food the New Leaf has to offer at brunch on Saturday and dinner on Sunday. Great food for a good cause – and please “Choose the Kids!”
