The Eastsound Planning Review Committee (EPRC) meets today from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Senior Center. Public Access is officially scheduled at 3:15 p.m. New members are sought to fill positions on the county advisory board, and the public is welcome to attend.
EPRC members Gulliver Rankin, Patty Miller, Clyde Duke, Bob Connell, Fred Klein and Audrey Moreland will discuss with county officials and staff:
- An appeal to Public Works to maintain the Senior Center Road and Parking lot
- Updates from County Council Gene Knapp and/or Richard Fralick
- Discussions on
- Solid Waste Disposal

- Transfer of Senior Center Road to Public Works
- Role of EPRC in upcoming projects: A to Main, Mount Stormwater treatment.
- MRC grant with Stormwater Utility Swale assessment.
- Scenic Byways and Directional signs (a meeting is scheduled for the Scenic Byways Focus Group on Signs on June 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Outlook Inn)
- Role of EPRC in Byway plan, Directional signs to Eastsound and Beach access.
- Update on Housing
The EPRC will also review 2010 priorities in light of county budget constraints and refocus on one priority and set the agenda for 2010 EPRC meetings and what subject will be focus of each meeting.
