For Sunday, Sept. 4 advance vehicle reservations from Orcas to Anacortes are full for the remainder of the day.* Reservations from Friday Harbor to Anacortes are available.* When traveling with a reservation, you must check in at the terminal tollbooth 30 minutes prior to your reservation time, so WSF recommends that you arrive at the terminal 45-60 minutes in advance of your sailing time to ensure that you reach the booth with 30 minutes to spare.

We do not recommend traveling stand-by for an earlier sailing, because you will forfeit your later-reserved space and risk missing both the earlier departure and your original reserved departure. Travel on your reserved sailing.

Reservations can be made up to two hours before sailing time, so check back at https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries/TakeaFerry/ or call 511 to speak with an Information Agent to see if there have been any cancellations and/or changes made to existing reservations that would free up reservable space. In addition, limited drive-up space is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a 90-minute advance arrival advised. Walk-on space is available for all departures.
