Salmonberrry students lead the parade for Earth Day!
Salmonberry School students and staff led the Earth Day Parade on Orcas Island today. They marched down North Beach Road and up Prune Alley, hoisting an Earth Ball and festooned with dandelions.
They certainly had the sun smiling on them, as well as all lucky onlookers!
Thank you, Salmonberry School, for remembering and celebrating Earth Day out in our community! It’s wonderful to have an official Earth Day to remember, celebrate and make new resolutions to take better care of the Earth for us all. You do us proud!
