The San Juan County Council will conduct an early start special meeting in the Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor on Tuesday, July 12, beginning at 8:45 a.m.
The Purpose of the Special Meeting is to allow for discussion of the Solid Waste Ordinance (describing the Parcel Fee System) and the Solid Waste Resolution (referring the Parcel Fee Ordinance to the voters). The Call to Order for the regular meeting agenda will begin at 10 a.m.
On the regular agenda are reports from the County Administrator regarding:
- Accessing Natural Resource Data via San Juan County’s Geographic Information System (GIS) – Greg Sutherland, GIS Program Coordinator
- 2011-2016 Amended 6-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) (2nd touch) – Shannon Wilbur, Senior Project Engineer
and the following action items:
- Resolution Adopting Hearing Examiner Rules – Randall Gaylord, Prosecuting Attorney
- Final Policy Direction re: Scientist’s Recommendation for Critical Area Ordinance (CAO) Update
- Wetlands Section
- Uplands Fish and Wildlife Section
