— from Jenny Atkinson for The Whale Museum —
The Whale Museum will be hosting a Night of Holiday Indulgence on Thursday, December 6 from 5 – 7 p.m. Shoppers can indulge in a variety of yummy goodies & libations (donations accepted) while taking advantage of a sweet deal: 30% off in the gift shop.
The Whale Museum is hosting this Grown-up Event to give adults the opportunity to shop on their own. Whether shopping for kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, or that someone special, this evening gives grown-ups time to shop without the gift recipient around while indulging in holiday cheer. All merchandise is 30% off. (Adoptions and Memberships are not included.)
The Whale Museum is located in Friday Harbor at 62 First St. N. Founded in 1976, The Whale Museum’s mission is to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. In addition to providing exhibits, the Museum also provides programs including the Marine Naturalist Training, Orca Adoption Program, SeaSound.org Acoustics, Soundwatch, San Juan County Marine Mammal Stranding Network, and the Whale Hotline.
