If you’ve had the pleasure of dining at the Doe Bay Cafe, you know first-hand how great the food is.  That’s largely because of their unbeatable chef, Abigael Birrell.  On March 30, Abigael brought her expertise to the public school cafeteria where build-your-own burritos with a choice of chicken or beans and rise filling, fresh “spicy” salad and raspberry blueberry crisp was devoured by 300 kids, teachers and parents.

On April 22, The Orcas Landing Hotel will be cooking up a delicious soup that will be served with deli sandwiches and Marionberry ice cream made for the school cafeteria by Enzo’s.
