If you don’t get your ballot, call the Elections Office
||| FROM CINDY WOLF, SAN JUAN COUNTY COUNCILMEMBER |||
As Deer Harbor residents are aware, if we want mail delivered to our street addresses, we have to use a 98245 zip code. Unfortunately, the Drivers’ Licensing database folks think they know better, which is causing a problem with ballot distribution.
Thus my PSA…
This is Councilmember Wolf writing to you as a Deer Harbor resident. Possibly due to a data download received in March by the County Elections Office from the Washington State Department of Licensing that “corrected” all the home delivery addresses for voters registered in Deer Harbor to a 98243 zip code, my ballot was delayed. If you are a home delivery mail customer who has not received your ballot, please call Camolyn at the Elections Office (360-370-7563) so she can change your zip code back to 98245 and issue a ballot if necessary. Thank you for helping to get the word out!
