The contractor will be constructing the east and west abutments for the temporary bridge, along with building the grade for the new Channel Road alignment on the west side of the existing bridge.
Utility crews will be placing conduit along the northern limits of the project on the west side of the bridge. Temporary traffic control continues to be in place daily.
