The Orcas Island Community Foundation is hosting a presentation on “Increasing Charitable giving while Decreasing Income and Estate Taxes,” Wednesday, September 16th, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Orcas Center.
This presentation is free and open to the public.
Joe Cohen, a recognized and published expert on the process of helping individuals assess how to allocate wealth for themselves, their families and their communities, will elaborate on the use of charitable strategies to increase giving and create substantial income tax deductions for their estate. This program is part of the Orcas Island Community Foundation’s Endow Orcas initiative.
Endow Orcas is an ongoing cooperative effort between the Orcas Island Community Foundation and local non-profits to improve systems and skills related to planned giving and endowment building to benefit the Orcas Island Community.
