Newest numbers. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) reported a total of 714,869 confirmed cases as of 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 22. There have been 9,784 COVID-19 deaths in Washington.
NOTE: DOH will not update the data dashboard on Friday, Dec. 24, in observance of the Christmas holiday. We will include data from Friday in Monday’s dashboard update (Dec. 27).

WA Notify adds new feature: Exposure notifications for at-home COVID-19 test results. Washington’s exposure notification app is launching a new feature that will allow those who test positive for COVID-19 with an at-home test to anonymously notify others of a potential exposure. COVID-19 long-term care report. As of Dec. 20, a total of 27,168 COVID-19 cases and 3,224 deaths have been identified as associated or likely associated with a long-term care facility (such as nursing home, assisted living facility, or adult family home).
