Crow Valley String Band plays at Random Howse, Friday, July 11

The Crow Valley String Band has been traveling this summer, and is taking a break and will be home on island for a free concert at the Random Howse starting at 630 pm on Friday, July 11.

This family band draws across the range of traditional music to create a lively, high-energy evening of fun that delights the audience from kids to seniors. A varying combination of fiddles, mandolin, guitar, and upright bass combine with family woven vocals to fire up and deliver regional traditional music from the Bluegrass, Old Time, Celtic and Acadia traditions.

Come join Rachel, Jim, Tashi and Kaj, to jump start a fine Orcas Island summer weekend, and see what the next generation is up to musically these days. You will be pleased you did!
