San Juan County will be offering a free H1N1 flu shot clinic for school aged children on Friday November 6 at the Orcas Island School.
Parents are asked to be sure to complete the vaccination permission form that was mailed home ( also available in the school office) and return it to school, or with your student on Friday.
Parents who would like be present while their child receives the shot are welcome to come to school at their class’ assigned time.
Only students whose families have chosen to have the vaccine and have a completed form will receive the vaccine.
The shot clinic will take place in the Elementary School Music Room. Nurses from the County Health Department will be administering the shots and there will be an emergency medical technician on site as well. The room will be set‐up to provide some privacy to each student while receiving his or her shot.
