Due to recent storm damage, the float at MacKaye Harbor Marine Facility on Lopez Island is closed until further notice. The County’s Public Works Department has been monitoring the condition of the facility throughout recent weather events, and for the safety of the public, is closing access to the float.
The County recognizes how important these marine facilities are to commuters, visitors, businesses, locals, and other service providers who rely on this infrastructure for regular operations and travel. The County is working toward solutions to reopen the facility and apologizes for any inconvenience.
