Great news! Hope to see many fellow Orcas Islanders there tomorrow, too. This is our community’s hard-fought opportunity — through letters and postcards that you filled out at the Farmers’ Market this past summer (yes, they do have an impact!) — to let the decisions makers know what significant impacts the proposed coal terminal at Cherry Point may have on Orcas. Please come!
It will be very powerful if a lot of us show up at the scoping hearing in FH tomorrow (Sat.) Numbers of people really speak, whether you want to make an oral comment or not. There will be ample opportunities for oral comments and also to submit written comments.
