The SJC Council will be holding a Special Meeting/Council Retreat on Friday, January 31, 2020 to discuss the items listed in the attached agendas for planning purposes.

The meeting will take place a the SJC Fairgrounds Office Conference Room at 849 Argyle Avenue, Friday Harbor beginning at 9 a.m.

  1. DCD Major Workload Items for 2020 and beyond
    a. Comprehensive Plan Overview
    i. Schedule(s) of Comp Plan Update
    ii. Which elements have been reviewed and which are pending
    iii. Allocation of long range planning staff – Comp Plan v. All
    Other Policy and Code efforts and Fee Proposal
    iv. Other elements – WA Leg. Bills – salmon recovery, climate
    change
    v. When might the Comp Plan Update effort be completed?

    a. General discussion of the options presented in the latest staff report
