San Juan County will hold a hazardous waste round-up on Stuart Island, Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Stuart Island School (532 Reid Harbor Road).
This event gives residents the opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous waste such as paints, fuels, cleaners, pesticides, and other toxic or flammable materials. Proper disposal helps protect public health and the environment.
Households may bring up to 25 gallons of hazardous waste at no charge. Waste must be in containers no larger than 5 gallons. Containers will be returned to customers.
