i hope we FINALLY get a CAO. This has been over 20 years in the making. It’s not protective enough of the right things, but it’s a start, the County made efforts to compromise with all sides. It’s time to get ‘er done so at least there are SOME protections – which there have not been all these years.
The biggest issue of all is stormwater, and educating people to understand how to slow it down and what to do. That goes way beyond L.I.D. and rain gardens. It means safeguarding wetland filtering trees so they can do their job – much more effective than pipes.
