There will be a Special Meeting of the San Juan County Council on Friday, Nov, 13, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor,.
The SJC Council is holding a Special Meeting to discuss the following:
- Eastsound Subarea Plan;
- Thurman Redesignation Ordinance
Why hold this in Friday Harbor? The “Interested Parties” are on Orcas Island! Spirit Eagle
I agree. If they’re going to have a special meeting about Eastsound, they should have it in Eastsound. This council is getting better about having their meetings on different islands, but there’s room for more thoughtful planning here.

Got a quick response from Rick: “The Eastsound meeting on The Eastsound Sub Area Plan is December 8th. It has been part of the plan for the last year to have a comment period with the plan in Eastsound”
