||| FROM SAN JUAN COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS |||
The San Juan County Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 8 am, to consider a Resolution declaring a State of Emergency. The severe weather system that passed over San Juan County on November 14 and 15, 2021, dropped a high volume of rain that flooded and damaged roads, property, and negatively impacted the necessities of daily life.

Governor already has.
Curious why this didn’t happen today?
Justin, it’s easier to follow, then to lead..
Justin, apparently the governor’s emergency declaration didn’t include San Juan County. Hopefully, the Council will include the consideration that many roads in SJC are private, not County roads. Although public funding for these repairs may not be available, emergency access, as well as routine access for food and supplies may be vital issues.
Brian, the upper article of our Governance states SanJuan as well.
Yes as Clyde-Duke said, the governor did include SJ County.
