Remember Flat Lance? He was the handsome, full-size, cardboard cut-out of Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce Director Lance Evans who championed the Orcas Island Community Foundation’s 2015 GiveOrcas Holiday Catalog. In 2016 we have a new flat person and you have the opportunity to win $$ for a local nonprofit if you can guess who it is.
Who will be the new “Flat Person” representing the Orcas Island Community Foundation’s GiveOrcas Holiday Campaign? The mystery will be revealed on December 6, and this Flat and Real Person will champion the nonprofits listed in our 2016 GiveOrcas Holiday Catalog throughout the month of December.
Until December 5 you can guess who this year’s Flat Person is on our website at www.oicf.us. If you guess correctly, you may win $1000 to give to the nonprofit of your choice in this year’s catalog!
The GiveOrcas.org Catalog will be open to donations from the community December 1 -22. There will be several games throughout the campaign.
OICF’s mission is to “enhance and preserve the quality of life on Orcas Island.” We hope the 2016 GiveOrcas Campaign will be a fun and engaging way to draw attention and funding to some of the great nonprofits serving our community.
