Winners of the 2010 Mayoral Election were announced yesterday from the Stage on the Green by Dale Heisinger, President of the Chilrdren’s House Board. The “election” is a fund-raiser for Children’s House, which netted $7,900 in the campaign.
First place was taken by Clara from Crow Valley Pottery, who brought in about $2.900. Second place was captured by Lucky Lu who gaine $2,100 in votes.
Lori Wix, representing outgoing mayor, Dakota, gave a short speech and then passed the key to Eastsound on to Clara’s representative, Michael Rivkin, who said he was pleased to share that he would be serving on Clara’s cabinet.
