The children of Orcas Island are cordially invited to become part of the island’s annual Library Fair this August 13, 2011. There is a special area set up for them to have their own booth and sell items they make.
In the past, the Children’s Crafts Area has given youngsters an opportunity to sell their own crafts, baked goods, lemonade and even manicures. Items must sell for $5 or less.
If you qualify for the Children’s Craft Area, put your imagination to work and set yourself up in business. If you are above the age limit, be sure to stop by the tables to see what our younger generation is doing.
**If you are reading theOrcasonian for free, thank your fellow islanders. If you would like to support theOrcasonian CLICK HERE to set your modestly-priced, voluntary subscription. Otherwise, no worries; we’re happy to share with you.**
Children are asked to come to the Library to sign up IN ADVANCE for a space in the Children’s Craft Area. There is no charge, but we’d like to know how many children to expect. Children should also bring their own small table and chair.
Thank you,
Nita Couchman
