Charles Dalton of The Kitchen returns for the third time to our school cafeteria kitchen.

On Thursday, November 1, Charles Dalton, owner of The Kitchen behind Tres Fabu, will once again be working with our great cafeteria staff to create and serve a delightfully local Orcas lunch for our kids, parents and teachers.   The menu will be Teriyaki Beef (tofu teriyaki for the vegetarian option), sesame rice cakes, sauteed winter root veggies and cabbage slaw.

Our Celebrity Chefs now also spend some time with Mandy’s Farm to Classroom kids prior to their lunch day exploring an item or items they will be serving in their lunch.   Charles will be teaching them how to make rice cakes.

Charles was our very first Celebrity Chef way back in November of 2009.  This is his third time as our Celebrity Chef and he’s a hit every time.
