The Orcas Island Library Board of Trustees has some recent changes.
Tom Welch has resigned as president due to health issues and as of October 11, 2011 Joan Pedrick will serve as president until the end of the year.
Joining the board as a new member is Margaret Payne. Along with my fellow board members, Alan Lichter, Donna Riordan, and Joan Pedrick , we welcome Margaret and thank Tom for his indefatigable work ethic and the grace in which he served as a trustee and as our President.
