||| FROM THE STAFF OF ORCAS FAMILY HEALTH CENTER |||
After 17 years of providing care to patients on Orcas Island, Orcas Family Health Center will be shutting our doors at the end of March 2021 and moving to the Orcas Medical Center building as part of the new Island Primary Care-Orcas medical practice managed by Island Hospital.
Dr. David C. Shinstrom opened OFHC with the mission to provide affordable healthcare to the Orcas Island community. Over the years we have done our best to make good on our mission. Along the way our staff has had the privilege of serving our neighbors, friends, and island visitors.
OFHC may be changing locations, but the dedication to caring for our community remains. Island Primary Care-Orcas will begin seeing patients at 7 Deye Lane on April 5. We do so with great optimism for a sustainable future for healthcare on Orcas Island.
Patients can download and complete the forms to transfer medical records to Island Hospital from the Island Hospital website, the Orcas Family Health Center website, or pick one up in the OFHC office.
Outstanding account balances are being actively addressed to either pay in full or set up payment plans. Contact Michell at 360-376-7778 for more information.
We thank the community for your support over the years, in volunteer time, friendship, and the generous financial support of individual community members and the Orcas Island Healthcare District.
