Chair Yoga returns to the Senior Center on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, starting Sept 1, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
This gentle way of practicing yoga eases tensions acquired from challenges of everyday life stresses or chronic disease. One’s limitations are considered and adapted, and yet there is a feeling of strength, stretch, wakefulness, and calm after the end of the classes.
Come join us for a good balance to spring gardening, longer days, and continued friendships in the spirit of joyous practice.
Taught by Sara Dailey-Smith, a Certified Yoga Therapist (CYT) and Yoga for Aging from Duke Integrative Medicine, NC.
