Sara Dailey-Smith will teach "Chair Yoga" on Wednesdays beginning in March at the Senior Center

In November, Sara Dailey-Smith came back from a training at Duke Integrative Medicine at Durham N.C. where she participated in a special training in Yoga For Seniors.

Although she has been teaching seniors for 13 years, the new research at Duke was open to teachers from all over the United States to become certified in safely teaching seniors with many different limitations.  Duke Integrative Medicine is one of the universities at the forefront of using yoga in aspects of healing and holistic approaches to medicine and in supporting the benefits of yoga for seniors to replace sedentary lifestyles.

A Chair Yoga class will be offered on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. the month of March for $25.. All proceeds go to the Senior Center.
