For the second year, Orcas Island Community Church brings an evening of contemporary Celtic music to another Emerald Island. Celebrating the season of Christmas, Celtic-style, are Windham Hill/Ark Music recording artists Jeff Johnson (keyboards and vocal) and Brian Dunning (flutes and whistles) with Wendy Goodwin (violin)
The trio will perform Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. at Orcas Island Community Church on Madrons Street in Eastsound.
Billboard magazine reports, “Their sense of melodic invention flows like a Celtic breeze.”
Space is limited, so call for reservations at 376-6422 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. this week. Suggested Donation is $10 at the door.
