A celebration of the life of Mary Katherine Schoen (September 27, 1925 – April 26, 2017) will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at West Sound Community Hall.
At the time of her death, Mary was 91 and had lived continuously on Orcas for over 70 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation to Hospice of the Northwest or the San Juan Preservation Trust.
