Summer is finally here, and the artists of the Friday Harbor Atelier open the doors to a new season with new artworks by 10 member artists.
The artists of the Friday Harbor Atelier (313 Spring St., Friday Harbor), invite the public to a Summer Open House and Art Show on Friday, June 9th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The show will be on display through July 31st, 2023. The Atelier is also open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. throughout the summer.
The artists involved will be on hand to talk about their work with interested visitors and open their studios – “where the magic happens” – and each artist will present recent works for sale.
Member artists of the Atelier (ah-tell-yay’, French for “studio”) include Amanda Azous, Shannon Borg, Mary Bruce, Debbie Daniels, Alison Engle, David Harsh, Lori Hellstrom, Pamela Hoke, Lisa Lamoreaux, Laura Long, Sammy Long, Jan Murphy, Kristen Reitz-Green, and Teresa Smith. Friday Harbor Atelier is an independent group of artists working in a common studio space in the downtown area of the charming port town of Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. We provide affordable private studio spaces, an open studio space, showcase art, and host classes, workshops and exhibitions. .
