Got gloves?
Join us next Saturday, October 19, to celebrate Orca Recovery Day 2019 by planting Garry oak acorns and native prairie forbs at Turtleback Mountain Preserve.
Meet Land Bank stewardship staff at the South Turtleback Trailhead at 10 a.m. We’ll provide tools, drinks and snacks and will plant until 2 p.m.
This is one of twenty simultaneous events in California, Oregon and Washington sponsored by One Tree Planted and Promise the Pod.

Where do we get some acorns to plant in other places where Garry Oaks can thrive? I want to see out native trees proliferate again (including Big Leaf Maple).
