Caroline Buchanan is offering a class, “Drawing for the Uncertain Artist,” for three days, February 23, 25, 27 (Tues, Thurs, Sat) at the Orcas Senior Center, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. “If you have always wondered where you were when the ‘talent’ was handed out for drawing, it is time to discover that you too can draw,” says Buchanan.
Caroline is well known for demystifying the drawing experience and showing students how to draw in easy, clear steps. She claims that anyone who has enough coordination to drive a car can also learn to draw. She teaches the secrets for putting put the three-dimensional world down on a two-dimensional sheet of paper. Her student will learn in a friendly, supportive atmosphere how to see as artists do and find how easy it is to start drawing!
Contact Buchanan with any questions, 376-5509 or watercolors@rockisland.com. Register with the Orcas Senior Center, 376-2667. The course is $115. The Office Cupboard has a suggested equipment list or bring what you have for the first class.
