There are many “artists” working on Orcas Island, but few measure up to the quality and integrity of Carol Gill’s skill level. Carol is extremely talented, and deserves an outpouring of support for her life long endeavors as a serious practitioner of the visual arts. I consider her a top contender for “one of the best” on Orcas. Please show up at the opening reception and give her your support! And, if you want to invest in top quality work…her’s would be a very good investment. Her ink drawings and watercolors are exceptional!
I agree. Carol is a wonderful artist.
Carol Gill could capture details under water and include the reflections on the water as well as the water itself. It is truly amazing how skilled she was. It is certainly going to be a treat to see her paintings and attend the reception Thursday.
