The Cancer Support group has changed their name to Cancer Survivorship to be more inclusive of all those involved in dealing with issues related to cancer.
In the last four years, the group has been comprised of those in the midst of treatment, caregivers and family members, and mostly, survivors. There are common experiences that are shared with deep understanding and compassion. There are resources that give direction and confidence. There are prayers and positive conversations that give hope. There is a wonderful saying that applies here for anyone that has not attended one of the meetings: “Come in a stranger and leave a friend.”
The meetings are the second Thursday of each month. We will be meeting Thursday, November 12th in the Fireside Room of the Community Church at 5:00 pm.
Please call Bogdan or Carol for more information at 376-4198.
