Thursday, June 9 at 5 p.m. At Community Church

— by Sue Lewis–

It’s time for the June meeting of the Cancer Survivorship Group. We will meet together on Thursday, June 9th in the Fireside Room of the Community Church at 5:00 pm. We will enjoy some summer treats and have plenty of time for sharing. Everyone is welcome. We want to hear your stories, happy or not so happy, and we will share experiences and hope.

This is a monthly, no cost, confidential support group for anyone touched by cancer, whether personally, as a family member, friend, caregiver or in any other capacity. If you, or anyone you know, us dealing with issues related to cancer, please come and join the conversation. Discovering how others manage the special problems that cancer brings might help you find ways to cope with the problems that come along for you. Let’s support each other by finding courage for the journey, joy in the healing, and hope for the future.

At our informal meetings you’ll have a chance to share your experiences, problems, and feelings with those who are currently going through treatment, are in remission or have been healed. If cancer has been part of your life and you are here today – you are a survivor.

There will be an opportunity for everyone to share.. Join us at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th. Call Bogdan or Carol at 376-4198 for more information.
