The Cancer Survivorship Group will meet this Thursday, Oct.13, at 5 pm, in the Fireside Room of the Orcas Island Community Church.

This support group meets monthly where you’ll have a chance to share your experiences, problems, and feelings with others who are currently going through treatment, are in remission or have been healed. Our main goal is hope, especially during October, which is Cancer Awareness Month.

Your family members, friends or caregivers are very welcome to attend our meetings, with or without you. Often family and friends have their own concerns and feelings that need to be shared and understood. You can learn what others have done to successfully cope with their cancer and treatment during our no-cost, confidential meetings. All are welcome. Call Bogdan or Carol at 376-4198 for more information.
