This month, the Cancer Support Group will explore the “Ring Theory…how not to say the wrong thing.”
Each month, we meet to provide group support and encouragement, as well as a safe place to explore feelings and issues that face persons and families dealing with cancer and its treatment. After almost four years, we have found that cancer survivors have ongoing issues but also have something to share with others.
Our focus is celebrating your victories, small and large, and listening to your stories and concerns. We all want to be overcomers in this life and to be able to give and receive love and support.
Join us on Thursday, May 14th. We will meet in the Fireside Room at Orcas Island Community Church at 5 p.m. For more information call Bogdan or Carol at 376-4198.
