Research shows that an individual’s outcomes are better with supportive persons, families, and/or groups providing encouragement.
Our goal is to provide this group support and encouragement, as well as a safe place to explore feelings and issues that face persons and families dealing with cancer and its treatment. We want you feeling better when you leave than when you arrived. Our focus is celebrating your victories, small and large, and listening to your stories and concerns.
In July, we will celebrate the beginning of the fifth year for the Cancer Support Group with a BBQ, so be sure to mark your calendars and come experience the “courage” in encouragement as we share our stories. This month, join us Thursday, June 11th at 5 pm in the Fireside Room of the Community Church. For more information call Bogdan or Carol at 376-4198.
