The Cancer Support Group will hold a baked potato feast to celebrate four years serving the community. We will meet on July 10 in the Fireside Room of the Orcas Island Community Church. Weather permitting, we may eat on the deck.
There will be a wide variety of toppings for baked potatoes plus dessert. The event is open to all who are affected by cancer: whether as a patient, a survivor, or a family member or friend of someone stricken with cancer. We want to honor the friendships and support that have been shared through the group.
The Cancer Support Group is a no-cost confidential program that meets on the second Thursday of each month. The group shares their experiences with each other and provides support as each one goes through their specific walk on the journey.
