— from Carol Kulminski —

The Cancer Support Group has been meeting once a month for four years providing a place to come and share what it is like to have Cancer invade your world. “Next to the military, these are the bravest folks on earth battling cancer,” says organizer Carol Kulminski. “Whenever we meet, we try to bring some light and laughter into the conversation.”

The meetings are only an hour and include some treats. For the celebration on July 9th, the menu will be expanded to include chicken or vegetarian shish-kebobs, potato salad, and a yummy chocolate dessert called “dirt”.

Please join us on Thursday, July 9, at 5:00 pm in the Fireside Room at the Community Church. Anyone touched by cancer, including survivors and caretakers, are welcome. Please RSVP to carol@orcasblueheron.com
